The “magic band,” done right.
The Horizon Sixer is a skillfully built 6-meter vertical dipole antenna for amateur radio’s magic band. It delivers an almost flat VSWR from 50–54 MHz, so you can jump between e-skip, local repeaters, and simplex.
The plots above represent the VSWR performance of the antenna under the test circumstances noted on footnote 2.
The term “bandwidth” here refers to the
range of frequencies over which the antenna exhibits a VSWR of 1.5:1 or less.
