The Ground Base Pole is the permanent mounting solution for the Horizon Antennas UltraLite™ system. Crafted from nickel-finished aluminum and measuring 46 inches in total length (including the top connection), this pole provides a secure, long-lasting foundation for your antenna installation.

Flexible Installation – Can be set directly in the ground or permanently anchored with concrete for added stability.
Optimized Height – Designed to be inserted 12–24 inches into the ground, leaving 24–30 inches exposed above ground for proper antenna positioning.
Easy Setup & Relocation – Test your antenna placement by using the pole without concrete before finalizing the installation. For a portable alternative, place the assembly in a 5-gallon bucket filled with sand or gravel.
Protective Insulation – Insular tubing ensures proper isolation and performance in all conditions.

Insert 12–24 inches of the pole into the ground, leaving 24–30 inches above ground.
Concrete may be used for a permanent installation, but test placement first in case relocation is needed.
The nickel-finished aluminum rod is not hammer-proof—do not drive it into the ground with a hammer, as damage may occur.
For a portable option, the assembly can be placed in a five-gallon bucket filled with sand or gravel.
